In an attempt to piece together fractured memories of a drug-fueled night in the woods, three friends confront guilt, jealousy, and a supernatural presence that threatens to expose their true natures.

When plans for a weekend vacation hit a dead end, a group of close-knit friends find themselves stranded in unfamiliar territory, pursued by a menacing, blood thirsty predator. 三个大学生到山中小屋度假，却从此失去了联系，警方根据他们遗留在溪边的摄影机，转拷成一卷关键录影带，试图从影像寻找线索进而找寻三人的下落。画面显示大学生走到荒山野岭后，发现了一件8岁女孩沾着血迹的洋装，而后竟然出现失踪女童的影像，还拍到了被烧焦的头发，还有更多令人不寒而慄的影像，单纯的失踪人口桉件瞬间发展成为连环谋杀桉…警方马不停蹄的试图从影像中拼凑出线索，希望还有机会能救出他们…

故事灵感来自台湾知名的猛鬼大厦之一的凶宅，这栋位在台北市中心的大厦，曾在30多年内发生超过20多件命案，让房价比周围其他建案都便宜许多。其中最著名的事件便是在80年代的一场火灾，造成300多人受困，最后夺走19条人命。而已成为都市传说的「烧肉粽事件」，一名女子因感情问题跳楼自杀，却意外压死楼下卖烧肉粽的小贩的悲剧，也是发生在此大楼，让恐怖名声不胫而走，成为台湾最猛的凶宅之一。

六名好友为寻求刺激，决定偷偷潜入一栋杀人魔的故居，而他们即将了解到，这地方存在的恐怖诅咒，将把他们一个个拖入万劫不复的地狱之中！
